Saying Ameen

The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “When the Imam says ‘Ameen’, then you should all say ‘Ameen’, for the angels say ‘Ameen’ at that time, and he whose ‘Ameen’ coincides with the ‘Ameen’ of the angels, all his past sins will be forgiven.” [Sahih Bukhari]

This saying of ‘Ameen’ is during the Salat after Surah Fatiha is recited. Men are supposed to say it aloud while women say it softly.
