Wind That Will Take Away the Souls

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “At that time, Allah will send a pleasant wind which will soothe them even under their armpits, and will take the soul of every Muslim. Only the most wicked people will be left, and they will fornicate like asses; then the Last Hour will come upon them.” [Muslim: Kitab al-Fitan wa Ashrat al-Sa’ah]

After the earth produces forth its blessings and the seven years of extraordinary harmony between all creatures, “Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) will send a cold wind from the direction of Shaam, which will take the soul of everyone who has the slightest speck of good or faith in his heart. Even if one of you were to enter the heart of a mountain, the wind would reach him there and take his soul.” [Muslim: Kitab al-Fitan wa Ashrat al-Sa’ah]

After this only wicked people will be left on earth, and they will behave in a most repulsive way without any concern for right and wrong. They will fornicate openly on streets like donkeys. The Trumpet will be blown on this group of people.

In brief, the order of events foretold so far is:
(1) The emergence of Imam Mahdi in Khorasan at a time when Muslims are slaughtered only for saying, “Allah, Allah.”
(2) The pledge of allegiance to Imam Mahdi in Makkah.
(3) World War III fought on several fronts with Imam Mahdi as the leader of the Muslims. The Muslims have a great battle with “Ar-Rum” in Shaam.
(4) Dajjal emerges and puts the people to severe trials. The more materialistic a person is the less likely it is that he/she will be able to save their Eeman.
(5) Muslims seek refuge on Jabal Dukhan in Shaam to save themselves from the Fitnah of Dajjal.
(6) Eesa (alaihis salam) descends and helps the Muslims to fight Dajjal and Dajjal’s followers. Dajjal is killed by him.
(7) Yajuj and Majuj swarm down and besiege the Muslims on the mountain of Toor.
(8) Yajuj and Majuj are removed by Eesa (alaihis salam’s) prayers and the earth is washed with rain till it is squeaky clean and produces forth its maximum blessings.
(9) A pleasant wind takes away the soul of every believer.
(10) The Trumpet is blown and the Hour comes upon the remaining group of wicked people.
