I'd Like to be the Most Favoured

A bedouin asked the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam): “I wish to be the most favored by Allah.” The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) replied: “Engage much in Allah's praise, and you will be the most favored by Him.” [Related by Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal]

Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) exhorts: “Once you have finished your Salah, then remember Allah while standing, sitting and reclining.” [Surah An-Nisa, Ayat 103] And He (subhana wa ta’ala) says: “And do the Dhikr of Allah’s name morning and evening.” [Surah Al-Insaan, Ayat 25]

Consider Allah’s advice on how you can train yourself to become this way:

“Keep yourself content with those who call their Lord morning and evening, seeking His pleasure, and let not your eyes overlook them, seeking the splendor of worldly life. And do not obey the one whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance, and who has followed his desire and whose behavior has exceeded the limits.” [Surah Al-Kahf, Ayat 28]
